Wildlife Poaching In Africa
The African continent is blessed with animals living in jungles, deserts, coastlines and grasslands. These comprise of both domestic and wild animals living in these habitats across Africa.
A report from Harvard University shows that 30,000 species per year are being driven to extinction. The wildlife in Africa is greatly endangered by illegal hunting and capturing of animals otherwise known as poaching. Some of these endangered animals are slaughtered so that body parts like tusks, pelt or bones can be illegally sold for huge sums of money. This drastic reduction of animal population can possibly lead to extinction.
