Crenov8, organizers of the Meet The Farmers’ Conference (MTFC) 2018 calls upon entrepreneurs and startups in the Agriculture Sector to submit their innovative ideas for maiden edition of MTFC Innov8 Agric Challenge.
The pitch competition is open to early stage Agric entrepreneurs from all sectors of the ecosystem and is aimed at promoting innovative ideas and enterprises that focus on food production, agro processing, agric financing, farm health, farmers’ education, soil protection, agri-technology, agri-produce warehousing and distribution and any other service that uses that uses creativity and innovation to improve the agriculture value chain.
The program will guide farmers and agribusinesses around their way in the industry and open them up to opportunities in the regions yet untapped. The challenge will hold in Accra Ghana, Nairobi Kenya, Kigali Rwanda, Abuja Nigeria between June and October while the Grand Finale will hold on 4th November 2018 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
From Friday June 1st 2018, Interested entrepreneurs can apply via: http://mtfc.crenov8.com/innov8agric and will be selected based on innovativeness of the idea, originality and feasibility.
Selected businesses will have the opportunity to exhibit and participate in the regional satellite conferences. Winners will emerge from each region and then go on an All-expense paid to Dubai to participate in the MTFC grand finale and pitch for the top prize of 5000USD as well as follow-on funding and investment opportunities.
