William Stenhouse, Vice President, of Agility Africa, is a Supply Chain and logistics expert currently focused on infrastructure development, industry standardization, people development and investments for Agility across Sub Sahara Africa.
Agility is a leading global provider of logistics and related infrastructure solutions, with over $4.8 Billion in annual revenue, 24,000 employee and offices in more than 100 countries.
Agility is investing in and developing large, international quality, warehouse parks across Africa. Agility’s Tema, Ghana AWP is operational with Abidjan, Maputo and Lagos opening in 2019. Warehouses range from 500 square meters and upwards for storage, processing and light manufacturing.
William joined the Agility Africa team in 2015 after serving as the Agility Dubai Contracts Logistics Director, where he was responsible for managing and leading 66% of Agility Dubai’s workforce while successfully leading the improvement of 100,000 square meters of commercial warehouse operations and a commercial fleet of 141 locally dispatched vehicles. During his tenure in Agility Dubai, William successfully turned an un-profitable Contract Logistics business into a profitable operating model in less than 6 months.
William recently spearhead the launch of Agility’s first Vocational Training Center in Tema, Ghana where Agility and its NGO partner are providing training and job placement for 40 Ghanaian students in 2018.
